The Great Dane Club Of Las Vegas








PURPOSE OF THE CLUB:
To promote the breed of the Great Dane through education and instruction.

MEMBERSHIP:
Open to any person who owns or is interested in owning a Great Dane and wants to better the breed and acquire a better knowledge of the breed.

MEETINGS:
Held the second Thursday of the month at 7:30 in the evening. It is held at various homes, a club newsletter is sent out with the location of the meeting.

CLUB EVENTS:
Participation in animal related community affairs---Handling Classes---Obedience Classes---Sanctioned B Match---Licensed AKC Specialty Show---Annual Picnic---Pool Party---Rest Home Visits.

CLUB HISTORY:
The Great Dane Club of Las Vegas was started in January of 1982. We are an affiliate club of the Great Dane Club of America, a member club of Nevada Dog Fanciers and are represented at the Silver State Kennel Club.

We are licensed by the American Kennel Club to do a Great Dane Specialty Show in April of every year.
